CARRIER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

The Carrier will be responsible for damages directly caused by the truck or driver


 

FOR ALSI MAINLAND MOVES THE VEHICLE IS INSURED EXCEPT AS NOTED BELOW

 

  1. Damage caused by leaking fluids, battery acids, cooling system antifreeze solution, rock chips, minor chips or scratches caused by highway gravel or low hanging trees, industrial fallouts resulting from acts of God.
  2. Articles left in vehicle (Unless factory installed).
  3. Shipper is responsible for preparing vehicle for shipment.  All loose parts, fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, hub caps, antennas, license plates, etc., must be removed and/or properly secured.  Any part of vehicle that falls off in transit is shipper’s responsibility; including damages to any and all other vehicles damaged by said part or fluid.
  4. Mechanical functions (including alarms), exhaust assembly, mufflers, alignment, suspension, undercarriage, engine damage that occurs due to vibration, or from the vehicle’s tie downs breaking or tearing due to vehicles age or condition, defective or insufficient brakes or parking brakes or parking gear.
  5. Damage caused by freezing of cooling system and/or batteries.  Protection from freezing will be furnished by and at the expense of the shipper.
  6. Damage to antennas that do not retract to within three inches of the car body.
  7. Windshields that crack due to previous existing chips or extreme changes in weather conditions. 
  8. Damage to convertible tops that are loose, torn, or have visible wear, or damage to vehicle boots, caps, masks, bras, or any other type of canvas material covering.
  9. Damage to any vehicle that cannot be driven on or off of the transporter under its own engine, brake or parking bread power.

I have read and agree to the above conditions and agree to be bound by them as integral part of my agreement with ALSI.

 

(Please print a copy of this agreement and return it to ALSI via fax.  If you do not have a fax available at your home or office, please go to the nearest Kinko’s or similar service provider and have it faxed from there.  No vehicle booking will be made without this document being signed and received by ALSI).
